KNOX WAKE is the online voice of the wakeboard community in and around
the Knoxville area. Knoxville has more watersports resources than any other
areas around it, yet most people don’t even know. Within driving distance you can
find some of the top boat manufacturers in the industry. From Malibu, Axis to
Supra, Moomba to Mastercraft, all of these manufacturers design, build, and test
their boats right in our backyard. We have the top tower and accessories
company (Xtreme Tower Products), the biggest trailer maker (BoatMate Trailers,
Inc) and the leading maker of the bimini/boat cover (Great Lakes Boat Top) right in
this area. You can find more than 10 shops within a 45 min drive from one another
carrying just about any brand of equipment you could possibly want. Not to
mention we have two really great collegiate wakeboard teams/clubs (The
University of Tennessee & Maryville College). Also our local boat dealers sell and
service every boat brand from Air Nautique, Centurion, Axis, Malibu, Mastercraft,
MB, Moomba, Supra to Tige.
Knoxville has been and is the home of several up and coming riders. From Jeff
House, Todd Tiller, Bobby Fee, Adam McCall, Justin Jenkins, Matt Bishop, Chris
Moon and Justin Hill just to name a few. Most people don’t know that Knoxville has
hosted many tournaments, demos, boat shows, rail jams, Trip Across America, The
Back Yard Tour, Eskimo Escapades, and have brought in countless pros like JD
Webb, Keith Lyman, Greg Necrasson, and Scott Byerly, just to name a few. This
website is designed to make the wakeboard community in Knoxville bigger and
stronger. This is a great way to find new people in the community and find out
more about upcoming events. The more we support our wakeboard community
the bigger it will get each season. Here’s to many things to come and remember

The first skater tries a trick, makes it,
and everyone else has to make it.
Whoever doesn't make it gets a
letter. The first letter is "S", the
second letter is "K", and so on, until
"S-K-A-T-E" is ...

BEST TRICK THURSDAYS
Each wakeboarder will have 3 tries to
hit the predetermined rail or kicker.
Judges will be looking for style, how
big you take a trick, and how
technical. Judges will take the BEST
TRICK of the 3 for each rider and
determine a winner once....

BIG OLLIE THURSDAYS
Each wakeboarder will have 1
attempt to ollie over the crossbar at
the set height. A successful jump is
one in which the crossbar remains in
place when the rider has left the
landing area....

BIG AIR THURSDAYS
Each wakeboarder will have 3 tries to
hit the kicker, aka "The Bone
Crusher" and get as much hang time
as possible. The judges will be timing
the amount of hang time from the top
of the kicker all the way to the
moment the rider hits the water.
Judges will take the best of the 3 air
times for each ride ...
