Knox Wake is the online voice of the wakeboard community in and around the Knoxville area. The website is designed to help local water sport enthusiast find more information about upcoming events, along with offering a place for riders to met and share their passion for the industry.
Knoxville has more water sport resources than any other area around it, yet most people don’t know. Within a short driving distance you can find some of the leading boat manufacturers in the industry, from Axis Wake, Malibu, MasterCraft, Moomba and Supra Boats. All these manufactures design, test and build world-class boats right here in our backyard. You can also find leading tower and accessories companies close by, Extreme Towers Products & Monster Towers, the largest trailer producer, Boatmate Trailers, Inc. and the go to bimini and boat cover maker, Great Lakes Boating.
Within that same drive you’ll come across a handful of local dealers who offer almost every brand of product you’ll need for your boating pleasure. Not to mention, we have several great clubs and collegiate teams, The University of Tennessee Wakeboard and Ski Team, Maryville College Wakeboard Team, INT Wakeboard League and Eskimo Escapades.
Among this all star line-up, Knoxville has many beautiful lakes that offer a nice scenic Mountain View backdrop year round. Over the years Knoxville has been known for its events, from regional tournaments, demos, weekly rail jams to the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour that takes place downtown on the riverfront each year.
